
Fried Ravioli
Try something new! Use sauces as dips.
To get you started, here's a fun new way to
serve great-tasting D'Orazio Pasta...
2 eggs, beaten well with a fork
Corn oil
Bread crumbs
D'Orazio Round Ravioli or Square Cheese Ravioli
Cook ravioli according to package directions, being careful not to overcook. While ravioli are cooking, heat corn oil in a saucepan or deep fryer over a low flame. Dip each ravioli in egg and then generously coat with bread crumbs. Using a large spoon, dip ravioli in hot oil and fry until golden brown (about 1 minute). Remove from oil, cool slightly and serve.
Serving suggestions
- Serve whole fried ravioli topped with marinara sauce and melted mozzarella cheese. (Just melt cheese over ravioli in hot oven).
- Cut ravioli in halves or quarters, insert toothpicks, and serve marinara sauce or salsa on the side.
